INFORMATION ABOUT COOKIES

Due to the entry into force of the amendment to the Law on Information Society Services (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree 13/2012, it is mandatory to obtain the express consent of the user of all websites that use non-essential cookies before the user browses them.


WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies and other similar technologies, such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels, are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the correct functioning of the website.

Through the use of these devices, the web server can remember certain data concerning the user, such as their preferences for viewing pages on that server, username and password, products of greatest interest, etc.


COOKIES AFFECTED BY REGULATIONS AND EXEMPT COOKIES

According to the EU directive, cookies that require informed user consent are analytics cookies and advertising and affiliate cookies, while technical cookies and those necessary for the operation of the website or the provision of services explicitly requested by the user are exempt.


WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES EXIST?

There are five types of cookies:

  • Analytical cookies: collect information about how the website is used.
  • Social cookies: those required for external social networks.
  • Affiliate cookies: allow tracking of visits coming from other websites with which the website has an affiliate agreement (affiliate companies).
  • Advertising and behavioural cookies: collect information about the user’s preferences and personal choices (remarketing).
  • Technical and functional cookies: strictly necessary for the use of the website and for providing the contracted service.

COOKIES USED ON OUR WEBSITE
  • _cookiesDirective: strictly necessary technical cookie containing the value indicating whether cookie installation has been accepted. It expires 1 year after the last update.
  • _wordpress_test_cookie: technical cookie from the WordPress CMS. Deleted when the browser is closed.
  • wordpress: technical cookie from the WordPress CMS. Deleted when the browser is closed.
  • wordpress_logged_in: technical cookie from the WordPress CMS. Deleted when the browser is closed.
  • _icl_current_admin_language: language cookie that stores the last language used when visiting the website.
  • PHPSESSID: strictly necessary technical cookie containing the session identifier. Deleted when the browser is closed.

HOW TO DELETE COOKIES FROM THE BROWSER
Chrome
  1. Select the Tools icon.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Show advanced settings.
  4. In the Privacy section, click Content settings.
    • Delete cookies: click All cookies and site data…
    • Do not allow cookies to be stored.
  5. Click Clear browsing data (clear cache).
  6. Close and restart the browser.

Internet Explorer (version 11)
  1. Select Tools | Internet Options.
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. In Browsing history, click Delete browsing history on exit.
  4. Select Delete files.
  5. Select Delete cookies.
  6. Click Delete.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Close and restart the browser.

Firefox (version 18)
  1. Select Firefox | History | Clear recent history.
  2. Next to Details, click the downward arrow.
  3. Check the following boxes: Cookies, Cache, Active logins.
  4. From the “Time range to clear” dropdown menu, select Everything.
  5. Click Clear now.
  6. Close and restart the browser.

You can accept or reject cookies individually in Firefox preferences, in the History section available under Tools > Options > Privacy.

Safari (version 5.1)
  1. Select Safari icon / Edit | Reset Safari.
  2. Check the following boxes: Clear history, Remove all website data.
  3. Click Reset.
  4. Close and restart the browser.
